Cottage Cheese Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bites

There’s something nostalgic about a warm cinnamon sugar doughnut, but making traditional yeast doughnuts can feel like a project. That’s why these Cottage Cheese Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bites have become one of our favourite easy treats. They deliver that soft, fluffy interior and sweet cinnamon sugar coating you love, all without waiting for dough to rise or dealing with hot oil. Thanks to blended cottage cheese, they’re incredibly tender while also packing in a little extra protein.

The best part is how quickly they come together. With just three ingredients for the dough and less than 10 minutes in the air fryer, you can have fresh, homemade donut bites ready in under 20 minutes. They’re perfect for slow weekend mornings, an afternoon coffee break, or satisfying a late-night sweet craving. Fresh from the air fryer, they’re brushed with melted butter and rolled in cinnamon sugar for that classic bakery-style finish.

These donut bites are also easy to customise. Add a splash of vanilla to the dough, mix a little nutmeg into the cinnamon sugar, or drizzle them with a simple icing glaze for an extra indulgent finish. You could even swap the cinnamon sugar for powdered sugar or dip them in melted chocolate.

If you’re looking for a simple recipe that tastes like it took much more effort than it actually did, these Cottage Cheese Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bites are one you’ll come back to again and again. They’re fluffy, comforting, and proof that a handful of pantry staples can create something truly delicious.
