Grilled Chicken Caesar Burgers

These Grilled Chicken Caesar Burgers combine everything you love about a classic Caesar salad with a juicy grilled chicken burger. Tender chicken breasts are layered with crispy bacon, Caesar-dressed romaine, shaved Parmesan, and a squeeze of fresh lemon on a toasted bun for a fresh, flavorful meal that's perfect for summer grilling or an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 burger buns
  • 3 strips bacon cooked until crispy
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 2 tbsp Caesar dressing divided
  • Shaved Parmesan for serving
  • ½ lemon cut into wedges

Instructions
 

  • Flatten the chicken.
  • Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper and pound to an even ½-inch thickness. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the bacon.
  • Cook the bacon until crispy using your preferred method. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
  • Grill the chicken.
  • Preheat your BBQ to medium-high heat. Grill the flattened chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). (Alternatively, cook them in a skillet over medium-high heat for the same amount of time.)
  • Toast the buns.
  • Place the burger buns cut-side down on the grill for 1–2 minutes, until lightly toasted.
  • Prepare the Caesar salad.
  • Toss the chopped romaine with the Caesar dressing until evenly coated.
  • Assemble the burgers.
  • Top with shaved Parmesan and a generous squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Serve immediately.

    Bottom bun, Thin layer of Caesar dressing, Crispy bacon, Grilled chicken breast, Caesar-dressed romaine, Top bun
