Grilled Chicken Caesar Burger

Grilled Chicken Caesar Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 burger buns
- 3 strips bacon cooked until crispy
- 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
- 2 tbsp Caesar dressing divided
- Shaved Parmesan for serving
- ½ lemon cut into wedges
Instructions
- Flatten the chicken.
- Place the chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap or parchment paper and pound to an even ½-inch thickness. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- Cook the bacon.
- Cook the bacon until crispy using your preferred method. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Grill the chicken.
- Preheat your BBQ to medium-high heat. Grill the flattened chicken breasts for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). (Alternatively, cook them in a skillet over medium-high heat for the same amount of time.)
- Toast the buns.
- Place the burger buns cut-side down on the grill for 1–2 minutes, until lightly toasted.
- Prepare the Caesar salad.
- Toss the chopped romaine with the Caesar dressing until evenly coated.
- Assemble the burgers.
- Top with shaved Parmesan and a generous squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Serve immediately.
